Using Google Scholar
Learn how to use the Google Scholar by creating an account and learning this simple searching tips! Make sure you are signed in to your Google Account. Once that's done, follow this simple tutorial to get started.
Linking Your Accounts
1. Go to Google Scholar website (scholar.google.com).
2. Click on the 3 lines on the upper, left hand side of the screen
3. Click on My Library.
4. Click on Library Links
5. In the text box enter Briar Cliff University and press the lookup button (blue magnifying glass)
6. Choose both Briar Cliff University options
7. Next, in the text box remove Briar Cliff University and add WorldCat. Then press the lookup button.
8. Choose Open WorldCat.
9. Once all three options have been chosen click save.
When conducting a search, the library links information will be displayed to the right of the results.
